12V VR6 Short Runner Intake Manifold

12V VR6 Short Runner Intake Manifold
These manifolds are a hi-bred CNC machined/Sheetmetal fabricated. Custom Motorsport is the look, with performance numbers actually tested, and shown!
All parts made in Vancouver Washington. Everything is made by Nub himself. Machined and welded.
These are based on MK3 fitment with factory radiator and fans. Some trimming on fan shroud required.
Vacuum Block includes, 1 3/8 NPT, 2 1/8 NPT, and the TEMP sensor port, pick your option
IF you are not running a temp sensor, select the GM 3/8 NPT option, that way it can be plugged off, or used for a vacuum/boost reference if needed.
Three styles will be sold:
Partial Built: You finish the piping, I supply rest of the parts, you complete piping/Throttle body placement to your fitment and Liking: $ 850
Complete manifold, ready to bolt to YOUR lower manifold: $925
Manifold will bolt to your factory lower manifold after you drill the holes out.
Complete manifold, assembled with a lower manifold that has been vapor blasted to give the OE look. You send me a GOOD core lower manifold: $1150
No Lower to send, Nubworks supply: $1350
Fuel Rail Options:
-6 Aluminum Machined Fuel Rail: $120
OEM MK4 fuel rail Modified to fit, you send me a good fuel rail: $60
OEM Mk4 fuel rail, NO CORE to send: $120
FAQ’s: WILL BE UPDATED AS THEY COME IN
Developed off of the 12V DIY kit. After years of trial runs and different styles, we did some testing on the MK3 test rig. After a long day of testing, we have data to show this manifold made 30whp more then a stock manifold. Same dyno, same car, same operators. The test was actually done to learn the difference between the Offset Runner (equal length to valve) Against the straight row of mouths inside the plenum. The two manifolds tested within 4whp of each other. Peak power now is made at 6800 RPM, and carried all the way to the 7300 Rev Limiter.
Disclosure: Not claiming you will make 230 whp….. every dyno is different, every car is different. Does this car make 230whp? Maybe it only makes 210 doing this test somewhere else. What we do know is that it the manifold makes significant gains with the same dyno and same operators.
MISSING data is the graph from the cam’d runs with stock manifold which we made 199whp. I will get back out to the dyno and pull that off the computer next time im there.
Test Car, has a sloppy built garage engine (questionable block, and old head off of another old engine). mk4 head gasket, TT 276 cams with heavy duty valve springs, TT chip that is paired to the cams, factory headers, 3” to 2.5” exhaust with 1 resonator, and 1 bola muffler.
